What this number is: Read the figure above for exactly what it is. These are extension, loft conversion and excavation applications — the jobs that generate a Party Wall etc. Act 1996 notice — and not one of them is a party wall award, because councils do not publish awards and never will. What the register gives you is timing: the owner has drawn the scheme and paid the fee, and on a terrace or a semi the notice is the next thing they have to deal with and has not been served yet.
